More Week 9

Tonight we have been mapping out the toilet / shower room in advance of the plumber coming, so that he can plan out his pipe layout...

Week 9 - Monday 16th to Friday 20th May

Another busy week! We've moved out of 110 as the builders have now totally removed the kitchen. Luckily Graeme & Sue went on holiday at the same time, so we're now house sitting in Regents Hill!

Scaffolding goes up, ready for the roof tiles to be installed.

Had a meeting with the window and patio door man (on Saturday 14th). He and Mark had measured up the window and patio door openings and had left some cryptic builders hieroglyphics on the wall. The windows and doors better fit!

Week 8 - Friday 13th May

Susie's Birthday!  Here's the latest pics showing how it's all coming together...

New rear elevation.

Internal blockwork wall is now built up to take the roof timbers.

A few pictures showing how the old wall steps back after the steel.

I think this step back in the wall will be covered over by the kitchen units

and so wont be too noticeable.

And the same on the other side.

On this side, the walls are in line, however the steel beam will need to be boxed in.
