To fill both sets of foundations took 2 mixer lorries worth!

Concreting the foundations!

Big day today! The extendable concrete pump lorry arrived around 8.30am (1 hour late!). The driver tested the reach of the arm over the top of the house, narrowly missing the lamp post. All the school kids and neighbours came out to watch and take photos...

The cement mixer arrived about half an hour later, connected up to the pump and away they went!

Dave came out to check his wall...

Patio foundations

The next day came the patio foundations. We were originally going to have a 2.5metre patio, but extended this to 3 metres...

Foundations

After starting on Thursday 17th March the builders cleared away the outside toilet and lean-to and dumped it in a massive 5 metre skip. The following Monday they started digging the foundations...

First post!!!

I thought it would be a nice idea to document our new extension to 110 Victoria Road, so sit back and enjoy the pics! I'll keep adding them until it's finished and then you can all pop round for a cuppa to enjoy the view!
