A quick update on how everything is progressing. So far the kitchen is complete, shower room  & toilet are all installed. the walls have all had a mist coat and first coat of colour. Our timber flooring is currently being installed. Once fitted, the skirting boards can be fitted and the painting completed.

New cupboards with flush closing doors fitted into the old fireplace.

Boxing in of heating pipes which used to be hidden in the old cupboard.

Washing machine just fitted in the old larder / cupboard under the stair.

A quick look at the kitchen being assembled...

 Although by the time they finished it looked pretty good!

The partition has now been removed and work has begun on the dining room.

Now the room is totally open, you can get an real idea of how the space is going to look!

Opening left at the bottom of the column for rodding access to drains.

The old fire place gets removed.

The concrete slab was too tough to knock out by hand so they're going to smash it up with the Kango!

In order to save a bit of a bit of cash we have been making up the kitchen carcasses (carcii?) ourselves.
